Accurate evaluation of chemicals is the key to Lindley Laboratories' success.

Through its expertise in chemical development, Lindley Laboratories can service all areas of the textile industry.

In 1977, after spending nearly 30 years in the textile business, J. Thomas Lindley, Sr. decided there was a better way to manufacture and supply textile chemicals to his customers. So, equipped with a one-drum blender and a strong will for success, he founded Lindley Chemical, Inc. in Gibsonville, NC.
Since 1977 many things have changed. Lindley Chemical, Inc. is now Lindley Laboratories, Inc.– a name change that reflects the company's commitment to the research and development of chemicals which fill the textile industry's ever changing needs.
In the first three years, Lindley was joined by his two sons, Tom and Clarke. Each has contributed to the company's fast growth through their experience in chemistry and business.

In 1989, Lindley Laboratories moved into a 405,000 square feet production and distribution facility. A state-of-the-art laboratory has been completed and is staffed by development chemists and technicians. All operations are managed on a specially designed computer system.
This growth has allowed Lindley Laboratories to diversify from chemicals for hosiery and textiles into applications for the masonry, furniture, automotive, janitorial, and hospital industries.
All these changes reflect Lindley's strong will for success and a commitment to finding a better way. Lindley Laboratories will continue to build on this philosophy so that we may keep on providing for the needs of industry.
